Kathryn Boyd was admitted to Jolley Acres after a recent hospitalization due to hypokalemia and weakness. Mrs. Boyd received services from physical, occupational, and speech therapy to address her deficits in cognition, strength, and overall daily tasks. After several weeks of intense therapy, Ms. Boyd increased her strength to improve her ability to ambulate safely with safely with a rolling walker and improving her overall standing balance.

Betty Rudd was admitted to Jolley Acres after a recent hospitalization due to dehydration, vomiting, and generalized weakness. After several weeks of intense therapy, Ms. Rudd increased her strength to improve ability to decrease assistance required from staff. She was able to improve her overall mobility and safety awareness. Due to her continuous motivation and participation, she was able to reach all of her goals with therapy.

Tony Robinson was admitted to Jolley Acres due to a cerebral aneurysm. Mr. Robinson received services from physical, occupational, and speech therapy to address his deficits in cognition, strength and address his dysphasia.
After several weeks of intense therapy, Mr. Robinson increased his strength to improve ability to decrease assistance required from staff. Mr. Robinson is now able to transfer and walk throughout the facility independently and participates with group activities. Mr. Robinson was able to thrive with all self-care tasks and improve his diet to regular consistency.
Ultimately, Tony was discharged home where he will continue his progress with Home Health. We greatly appreciate Mr. Robinson for choosing Jolley Acres for his care!
