Success Story – Nov – Kathryn Boyd

Kathryn Boyd was admitted to Jolley Acres after a recent hospitalization due to hypokalemia and weakness. Mrs. Boyd received services from physical, occupational, and speech therapy to address her deficits in cognition, strength, and overall daily tasks.

 After several weeks of intense therapy, Ms. Boyd increased her strength to improve her ability to ambulate safely with safely with a rolling walker and improving her overall standing balance.  She progressed with session, requiring less assistance so she could return home and visit her family for Christmas.

Ultimately, Kathryn was discharged home with home health where she continues to thrive!
