Success Story – Oct – Betty Rudd
Betty Rudd was admitted to Jolley Acres after a recent hospitalization due to dehydration, vomiting, and generalized weakness. Mrs. Rudd received services from physical, occupational, and speech therapy to address her deficits in cognition, strength, and daily living tasks.
After several weeks of intense therapy, Ms. Rudd increased her strength to improve ability to decrease assistance required from staff. She was able to improve her overall mobility and safety awareness. Due to her continuous motivation and participation, she was able to reach all of her goals with therapy.
Ultimately, Betty was discharged home with her husband and home health where she will continue to thrive! Thank you, Ms. Rudd, for gracing us with your presence and bringing smiles throughout the therapy department!
